Booking Policy

When booking with Grand Tappattoo Resort a deposit for the total of one nights stay, inclusive of taxes, is required in order to hold the room. It is therefore required that a valid credit card be on file with every room reservation.

Check-In/ Check-Out

Check-in time is at 4:00PM. Check-out time is at 10:00AM.

Late Check-Outs

We understand that some guests may want to extend their stay at Grand Tappattoo past the 10:00AM check-out time. Based on availability, we may be able to extend your stay no later than 2:00PM. The charge for any late check-out is $25.00. Please contact the Front Desk if you want to request a late check-out.

Cancellation Policy

A $20.00 booking fee applies for rooms cancelled more than 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded. For cancellations less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, the one night deposit paid upon booking is non-refundable. Cancellation must be received by mail, facsimile or email. As is standard policy within the lodging industry, guests who depart prior to their confirmed departure date, will be charged the applicable seasonal rate for the remaining length of their reservation unless the accommodation is able to be re-booked. A one night charge, taxes inclusive, will be applied for no-shows.

Smoking Policy

Please note that smoking in any of the hotel rooms, suites, cottages or indoor spaces is strictly prohibited.  Should smoke be detected in a guest room, upon inspection by housekeeping, the occupant will be charged an additional $250.00.

Smoking is also strictly prohibited on outdoor restaurant patios and near public entrances to all resort buildings.

Pet Policy

Grand Tappattoo Resort does not allow pets of any kind on resort grounds, hotel rooms or cottages.

General Policy

Grand Tappattoo Resort has a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in the hotel and resort facilities or may remove a person who: while on the premises of the resort acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner, destroys or threatens to destroy resort property, or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses or is unable to pay for the accommodations or services. Grand Tappattoo Resort may limit the number of persons who may occupy a particular guest room on the resort and will only allow registered guests to use thefacilities. A person who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the resort or any furniture or furnishings within the resort, shall be liable for damages sustained by the resort staff, including the resort's loss of revenue resulting from the inability to rent or lease rooms while the damage is being repaired.
